l cup steel-cut oats (or Irish oats)
4 cups water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup half & half
2 apples, peeled and cut into 1" chunks
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Add all ingredients to your slow cooker, set on Low setting for 8-10 hours. Add sugar to taste.
Makes two hearty servings.
